SURVIVE IN JAPAN is a practical Japanese course designed especially for travelers who are starting from zero. Forget complicated grammar and hours of studying. I’ll teach you the Japanese you really need when traveling in Japan — so you can use it straight away.

Over 4 practical lessons, we’ll cover the most useful situations you’re likely to encounter during your trip:

Learn how to greet people, say thank you, apologize, ask for help and communicate politely.

Learn numbers, understand prices and confidently buy things in shops.

Learn how to ask where places are, find stations and toilets, and understand basic directions.
No Hiragana. No complicated grammar.

Japanese writing will be introduced together with easy pronunciation and explanations, but the focus is on speaking and understanding Japanese for real-life travel situations.
